Our first drive

Khwaaish established it's the first drive and our team is still thriving from the experience. When we first proposed our movement, all of us had many complexities and insecurities about it in our minds. A part of was nervous, a part of us excited but mostly we were determined to help people and so with blessings of God we were able to distribute food supplies to over 150 people, masks, and sanitizers to the same number, and fruit juices as well. And we won't compensate by saying that our first drive was more than success. We are thankful to all those amazing souls who contributed to our funds. We saw faces of those who are fractured to everyday resources, we heard their stories, we sat with them and made them aware of the seriousness of the current pandemic. Our team along with few volunteers were able to manage to sweep distant areas. Their eyes exposed us to the importance of being there for people we don't interact with on daily basis. We also fed stray dogs and cows along the way.

Khwaaish has presented its first step with pure stability and we hope to possess this uniformity along with our future movements. Pretty soon we look forward to distributing clothes and food supplies as per the weather needs. At last, we join our hands to that power above to give khwaaish strength and resources to feed, help, and make the souls smile by giving our best.

Here are some reviews from our founders :

Mansha: "We were nothing but a bunch of 4 friends hanging out and suddenly realized that we are so privileged but this privilege of ours was nothing but a waste. We then had an idea of raising a fundraiser to donate masks, sanitizers, and food supplies to needy people.
We were pleased to see other people donating for a small good cause.
I personally felt so accomplished at that very moment, but internally realized that this is not the end it's just a small starting of a beautiful journey towards helping underprivileged groups of our society.
I hope that our little khwaish may get fulfilled"

Vanshika: When we went to the distribution drive,
the happiness in the face of the kids was so pure. They were so excited to see and talk to us. They started jumping with joy and circled us. We felt so pleasant, it was a feeling very hard to describe.

Sakshi(S): " When I and our Research head vanshika went to distribute, I remember kids shouting with joy 'Di di aagai. Di masks bi laai h. Thankyou di. ' and I knew that I have never been happier in life"

Saniya: Honestly it was not easy at the beginning but still somewhere I knew it was worth doing. One of the many things that gave me confidence and joy was different people stepping up to support us, the people that I have never met trusting us .all of this support and trust was the actual key to our successful drive and the fact that we were able to reach to the one in need, hear their side of the story interact with them.
I personally felt blessed not only to have such supportive friends and family but such a supportive society too.
